The aim of the Occupational Health and Safety program is to train "occupational health and safety technicians" with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that industrial organizations require and who can take responsibility for the occupational safety of an enterprise.
The aim of the program is to train individuals who can follow and interpret the legal legislation on occupational health and safety, act based on the professional ethical rules, take all the necessary measures to ensure occupational safety in an enterprise, perform the risk analysis of the institution where they work and provide the necessary measures to prevent risks. If our graduates pass the "Occupational Safety Expertise" exam conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, they can obtain a "C Certificate". Our occupational health and safety program is supported theoretically and practically with contemporary education methods in line with present conditions, and it is ensured that our students complete the program with sufficient professional experience.
Courses in the occupational health and safety program are mainly focused on occupational health and safety. In addition to the core courses, there are courses titled First Aid, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Factors, Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, Total Quality Integrated Management, Chemicals and Hazards, Fire Protection Methods, Occupational Safety Legislation, Occupational Safety Training Methods, Occupational Accidents - Occupational Diseases, Ergonomics, Statistics, Basic Law, Labor, and Social Security Law.
Our students get the opportunity to use the Vocational School First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety laboratories and computer laboratories. As a project, students are assigned topics related to occupational health and safety total quality management, so that students can conduct research and practice in various workplaces and present the information they have gathered to academic advisors and students.Job Opportunities:

Based on the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, employment of personnel related to occupational health and safety (occupational safety specialist, workplace physician, etc.) has become compulsory in the private and public sectors.
