Students who fail the mandatory preparatory class in programs where the language of instruction is entirely or partially (30%) a foreign language;
Those who wish to enroll in a department/program with the same name and Turkish as the language of instruction within the Faculty/College they are enrolled in or within Işık University must apply to the ‘Şile/Maslak Campuses Student Affairs Office’ of our University's Student Affairs Office.
Students who have studied for 2 years in the preparatory class and failed can apply if they meet the criteria specified in the regulations.
No documents other than a petition and ÖSYM certificate are required during the application.
Applications must be made in person, and applicants must present their ID card.
The applications of students who apply to our Directorate to transfer to a suitable program will be evaluated according to the conditions specified in the implementation principles of the Council of Higher Education and will be finalized by a Management Board Decision taken by the relevant Academic Unit.
If the department/program in which the student is enrolled at our university does not offer Turkish language education, or if the Turkish language program was not offered at our institution in the year the student's score was obtained,
the relevant students must be placed by ÖSYM.
Applications from students in this situation will be accepted by ÖSYM. For this purpose, the announcements section on the ÖSYM website must be followed.
