Applications under the Erasmus+ 2024 Project Internship4All Consortium Internship Mobility for our students who wish to do internship abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program will be accepted between the dates 30.09.2025 – 15.10.2025 (Until 15:30 PM). No applications or documents will be entered into the system after the specified date.

WHAT IS ERASMUS TRAINEESHIP MOBILITY?
Traineeship Mobility is the process of receiving vocational training and/or gaining work experience within an enterprise or organization in another program country. The traineeship activity provides students with a full-time practical work experience in their field of study. (Minimum duration: 2 full months, maximum duration: 12 full months.) The job description must be directly related to the student’s academic field of study.

 

WHO CAN APPLY WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THIS CALL?
Full-time students (Associate, Bachelor, Master, PhD, and Medical Specialization) who are enrolled in Higher Education Institutions that are partners of the Consortium (formal education) may apply within the scope of this call.

 

*ADDITIONAL GRANT SUPPORT;

Additional grant support to be included in the amount of the grant is available for the disadvantaged participants. To apply for the additional grant support, the disadvantaged participants must have fewer financial and social opportunities and meet the following conditions: 

  1. Being subject to Law no. 2828 (for whom there is a court ruling concerning protection, care or housing made by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy under Law no. 2828)
  2. Students for whom a protection, care or accommodation decision has been taken within the scope of Child Protection Law No. 5395.
  3. Receiving an orphan’s pension
  4. Becoming a child of a veteran or martyr
  5. Receiving survivor benefits (orphan’s pension or disability pension), or if one of the applicant’s family members (mother, father or guardian) receives survivor benefits, they are eligible to apply (The applicant must submit a document issued by some institutions such as the ministries, social assistance and solidarity foundations, Directorate General of Foundations, Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Center) to prove that they are receiving survivor benefits at the time they apply for the mobility program.)
  6. Disabled Persons (Disabled persons with a disability rate of at least 70% documented by the Disability Health Board report in the "Regulation on Disability Assessment for Adults" published in the Official Gazette dated February 20, 2019 and numbered 30692)
  7. Students whose parents or their guardians are over the age of 65, who receive disability or needy pension within the scope of the Law No. 2022 dated 01.07.1976 on Pensions for Needy, Powerless and Orphan Turkish Citizens and Disabled and Needy Turkish Citizens.
  8. Those who receive aid from AFAD for themselves or their first-degree relatives

 

Those students who meet the above-mentioned conditions and provide documentary evidence can receive Additional Grant Support as described below, depending on the type of mobility:

 

 

UNTIL WHEN CAN THE TRAINEESHIP BE CARRIED OUT?
This call is for students who wish to carry out their Erasmus traineeship mobility until 31 July 2026.

 

WHAT ARE THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS?

  • Associate and undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.20/4.00; graduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50/4.00.
  • If the student has previously benefited from Erasmus+ mobility activities within the same level of education, the total duration (including the new activity) cannot exceed 12 months.
    (For example, if a student has already completed a 9-month study mobility, an application for a study mobility lasting 4.5 months would not be eligible. However, the student may still apply for a 3-month traineeship mobility.)
  • The minimum duration of the traineeship mobility is 2 full months, and the maximum duration is 12 full months. Applications will be accepted if the acceptance letters cover these durations.
  • The traineeship activity can be carried out during the period of study in any year of the program, as well as within 12 months following graduation from the final year of studies. For a post-graduation traineeship, the student must apply before graduation (while still officially enrolled as an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate student). Students who have already graduated cannot apply.
  • Double Major (ÇAP) students cannot submit two separate applications for both departments. Within the same application call, they can only apply for one type of mobility activity.

 

WHERE CAN THE TRAINEESHIP BE CARRIED OUT?

Internship Mobility; Compulsory or optional full-time internships recognized by the higher education institution as part of the student's study program.

  1. For a diploma program, a traineeship is not compulsory. However, students must do their traineeship in an institution or organisation whose sectoral activities are relevant to their study program.
  2. A full-time internship is the internship that the student does during the activity period on a full-time basis. The full working day should be determined by taking into account the weekly working hours of the full-time employees in the destination country.
  3. The suitable workplaces for a traineeship include the following, but are not limited to:
  4. Students can participate in the Student Mobility for Traineeship each year of their studies, and senior students can participate in the mobility within 12 months following their graduation. Senior students who wish to participate in the mobility after graduation must apply before they graduate, when they are still active students in their degree program (Associate, bachelor’s or Doctoral Degree). Graduates cannot apply for the Student Mobility for Traineeships.
  5. An inter-institutional agreement is not required for Internship Mobility
  6. The minimum duration for internship mobility is 2 full months, and the maximum duration is 12 full months.

- a public body at local, regional or national level; 

- embassies or consular offices of the sending Program Country; 

- a social partner or other representative of working life, including chambers of commerce, craft/professional associations and trade unions; 

- a research institute; 

- a foundation; 

- a school/institute/educational centre (at any level, from pre-school to upper secondary education, and including vocational education and adult education); 

- a non-profit organisation, association, non-governmental organisation; 

- a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services; 

- a higher education institution (The receiving institution located in a Program Country must be awarded with an ECHE.)

 

HOW CAN I FIND A TRAINEESHIP PLACEMENT?
The Consortium, with the support of all partner institutions, will provide assistance to students starting from the application stage and throughout the post-mobility process.
The Consortium will be directly involved in the traineeship search process for selected students. However, since finding a placement depends on company expectations, it cannot be guaranteed that a placement will be secured for every student. Therefore, students are also expected to actively participate in the traineeship search process themselves.

 

WHAT ARE THE APPLICATION DOCUMENTS?
Below you can find the required documents and application links. Students will be able to submit their applications online using the links provided for their respective universities.

  • Online Application https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/
  • Language Proficiency Document (EXIT Exam certificates obtained from Işık University are valid for 4 years. Previously obtained results are also valid.)
  • Foreign Language Certificates recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) are also accepted.
  • Letter of Acceptance (not mandatory at the first stage of application by 30.10.2025, however, students who submit an acceptance letter will receive +10 points in their ranking score, and only students with an acceptance letter will be admitted).

Important Note: The traineeship mobility application process consists of two stages. The first deadline is 15.10.2025 (acceptance letters submitted by this date will earn +10 points). If the traineeship acceptance letters are not submitted by 30.10.2025, the application will not be accepted.

 

Selection Criteria;

Criteria and weighted scores to be used in evaluating applications:

 

*According to the 21st Article of the Anti-Terror Law dated 12/4/1991 and numbered 3713, as well as the war veterans and their spouses and children, and the wives and children of the war martyrs, “public officials should not perform their duties while performing their duties at home and abroad or even if their titles have been removed. The spouses and children of those who were injured, became disabled, died, or killed due to terrorist acts and the coup attempt and the terrorist act carried out on 15 July 2016, pursuant to Article 7 of Decree-Law No. 667 of 23 July 2016, and The spouses and children of those who lost their lives due to the actions or the disabled civilians and their spouses and children are prioritized if they apply for Erasmus + student mobility.

**For prioritization, the student must submit the Disability Health Board report included in the "Regulation on Disability Assessment for Adults" published in the Official Gazette dated February 20, 2019 and numbered 30692.

*** For prioritization, the student must submit a letter from the Ministry of Family and Social Policies stating that there is a protection, care, or accommodation decision in accordance with Law No. 2828.

****One or more of the following activities which includes internships experiencing: digital marketing (eg. social media management, web analytics), digital graphics, mechanical and architectural design; application, software and code or website development; installation, maintenance and management of information systems and networks, cybersecurity, data analytics, data mining and visualization; programming, robotics and artificial intelligence trainings. Customer service, request creation, data entry or routine office duties cannot develop digital skills.

***** If he/she has the citizenship of the country he will choose, the student who does not provide information at the time of application and who is entitled as “ADMITTED” will be deprived of his/her right if the citizenship status is revealed later.

*******It is applied only once. If a student is selected, the application will not be reconsidered for subsequent applications. However, if the student is not selected, additional points will continue to be applied to future applications.

 

GRANT AMOUNTS

  • Grants are paid to students in two installments. The first installment corresponds to 80% of the total grant amount. The second installment is paid after the mobility, provided that the student has completed the required documents and procedures, and achieved academic success (successfully completing at least half of the credits taken). Deductions will be made from the second installment if these requirements are not met.
  • During the traineeship mobility, if the host company is closed due to holidays, the traineeship may be interrupted. Grants will still be paid for the period when the company is closed; however, the closure period will not be added to the total mobility duration. In order to meet the minimum duration requirement, students must check in advance the holiday periods of the host company and ensure that the minimum duration is met even after deducting these days. Weekend holidays are not considered as periods to be deducted from the mobility duration.
  • In case of force majeure (any exceptional situation or event beyond the control of the parties that prevents one of the parties from fulfilling its obligations), mobilities that cannot reach the minimum duration will be accepted if the force majeure is duly documented, and the grant will be paid corresponding to the completed period.
  • If students return before completing the minimum duration for reasons other than force majeure, the activity will be considered invalid and no grant will be paid.
  • Students who wish may waive financial support.
  • In addition to grants for study and traineeship mobility, travel support is also provided to students for round-trip travel between program countries.

 

TRAVEL SUPPORT
In order to contribute to students’ travel expenses, the distance in kilometers between the starting point of the mobility and the host location must be calculated using the distance calculator provided by the European Commission. The travel grant should then be determined based on the table below.

The grant amount indicated in the table corresponds to the round-trip amount for the calculated distance band and is not multiplied by two.
