International Undergraduate Admissions at Işık University
To apply to Işık University as an international student, you need to complete and submit an online application form. Applications with missing documents will not be taken into consideration. You should not email or post any documents to the university during the application process.

- English Language Exam Score Result obtained from examination centers at universities (if available);

Country Requirements
- For Turkish programs only, the results of the examinations held by the following institutions can be used as a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate:
- IŞIK TÖMER (minimum B2 level)
- Turkish language centres of universities

Exam centres authorized by YÖK or MEB (Ministry of National Education)

Students who fail to pass the English Proficiency exam at Işık University, must study in the English Preparatory School for a year.

Required Documents to Complete the Registration
- YKN (Foreigner Identification Number) which will be obtained by the International Office after you enter Türkiye. In some cases, the system may not be able to generate a YKN for the student. In such cases, the student is required to obtain the YKN individually from the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
- Original High School Diploma/School Leaving Certificate (if in a language other than Turkish or English, the notarized translation should also be submitted)
- Original High School transcript (if in a language other than Turkish or English, the notarized translation should also be submitted)
- Original Language Exam Score Certificate accepted (For Turkish programs, a TÖMER Certificate with a minimum B2 level result is required. If this is not available, you must enter a TÖMER exam organized by IŞIK TÖMER, or study in their Turkish Prep program for one year. - Passport copy with identification information and student visa pages
- Residence permit copy (if available)
- Proof of payment of university fees (bank transfer slip)
- Passport-size biometric photograph taken within the last 6 months.
- Diploma Equivalency Certificate (if available)
- Letter of consent for students under 18 years old. (if in a language other than Turkish or English, the notarized translation should also be submitted)
- A birth certificate and its notary translation in English or Turkish is required for students under 18 years old (if in a language other than Turkish or English, the notarized translation should also be submitted)
