Learning outcomes for the Computer Engineering Program

  1. Basic Sciences: as related to computer science and engineering
  2. Hardware: knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering and components of computer hardware
  3. Programming: ability to implement theoretical solutions in a modern programming language
  4. Software: ability to propose, design and implement software solutions to real problems
  5. Tools: be aware of popular tools and ability to use a subset
  6. Project: ability to work in any of the analysis, design, development, test and maintenance stages of computer engineering projects
  7. Teamwork: Ability to work in heteregenous teams
  8. Self-learning: Ability to determine the necessary skill for the solution of a computer engineering problem and the skill to acquire them
  9. Communication: ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  10. Ethics: aware of the social and ethical implications of the profession
