A Week Full of Art in Çanakkale: "Synthesized Traces" Exhibition and Interuniversity Board of Arts Education Council Meeting

Çanakkale hosted a busy week for art lovers. Between September 9-17, 2023, the Çanakkale Wars History Museum at the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion hosted the "Synthesized Traces" exhibition. The exhibition was enriched with works from art schools all around Turkey. Prof. Banu İnanç Uyan Dur from our Department of Visual Communication Design participated in this fascinating event with her artwork. The exhibition was organized by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts and took place as part of the Troy Culture Trail Festival, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

During the same period, on the occasion of the festival, the annual meeting of the Interuniversity Board of Arts Education Council (ÜAK SDEK) was also held in Çanakkale. Işık University was represented at this significant meeting by Prof. Dr. Osman Demirbaş, Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture. Emphasizing the power of art, these events once again demonstrated the importance of art and culture in Çanakkale.
