The launching assembly the Designathon Competition, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, the Illuminated Design Community, and Kariyer.net, started with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Osman Demirbaş, the Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture. The project's founder, Kariyer.net's Senior Art Director Görkem Yaşıt, provided an informative presentation, and Senior Education and Development Specialist Merve Noyan Oral gave training.

At the Designathon, which began with the event at Şile Campus, the targets proposed by the students will be evaluated by a jury composed of expert names in the field. The jury includes Can Yalman, the founder of Can Yalman Design, Prof. Dr. Özgen Osman Demirbaş, the Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture at Işık University and a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Design, Dr. Saltuk Özemir, the Head of the Department of Industrial Design at Işık University, Betül Ozar, a faculty member in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Işık University, and Ezgi Kargan, the General Manager of Product and Marketing Management at Kariyer.net. Following the jury's evaluation, the winners of the competition will be announced at the award ceremony on Friday, January 13. The team that wins first place in the Designathon will receive a prize of 30,000 TL.
