OPAM Successfully Delivered Its First Domestic Adaptive Optics System

Işık University OPAM (Optomechatronics Application and Research Center), which is one of the few centers that can design and produce Adaptive Optics systems in the international arena and the only center competent in this field in Turkey, has designed and produced Turkey's first domestic Adaptive Optics System TROIA (Turkish Adaptive Optics). TROIA, whose installation and performance tests have been carried out, will purify the DAG Telescope from the effects of the atmosphere, making DAG the highest resolution image-obtaining telescope in its class.
