Our student from the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, national tennis player Ilay Yörük, achieved her first singles championship at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament W15 Antalya Series held in Antalya.

Competing on clay courts at the ITF tournament, Ilay Yörük eliminated her Romanian, Polish, and Russian opponents one by one, displaying a successful performance. In the semi-finals, she defeated Dutch player Anouk Koevermans 7-6 and 6-3, and in the final, she defeated Spanish tennis player Claudia Hoste Ferrer 2-0 with 6-2 and 6-3 sets, without losing a set throughout the tournament, and achieved her first singles championship in her professional career.
