Işık-TÖMER is a practice and research center committed to providing education to those who want to learn Turkish using the most modern methods and contemporary teaching techniques. It has a strong academic staff composed of experienced and expert instructors. Our center operates at the Maslak Campus.

Mission

The mission of FMV Işık University Turkish Teaching Practice and Research Center (Işık-TÖMER) is to provide foreign language learning opportunities to students at different language levels using contemporary approaches, methods, and techniques in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Işık-TÖMER aims to enable students to develop their own learning strategies, succeed in their academic studies, and acquire language skills that allow them to communicate effectively in social and professional life.
