Study of dimensional, descriptive and categorical approaches to classification by emphasizing the current forms of psychopathology included in the DSM-IV-TR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). The symptomatology, differential diagnosis, etiology, epidemiology, and treatment approaches related to various diagnostic categories. Examination of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, somatoform disorders, substance disorders, sexual disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders.
