Dear Academicians & Researchers,
Within scope of the
EKUAL (Electronic Resources National Academic License) Project, conducted by
TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, the access agreement for electronic journals relating to
Springer,
Nature, and
Palgrave publishing has been modified to the
"Read & Publish" model, covering the period from
2024- 2026.
Our university is a participant in the Read & Publish agreement. According to the criteria determined within the scope of this agreement, our researchers will be able to publish open access articles in Q1 and Q2 Hybrid journals of Springer, Nature and Palgrave publishing houses in the period 2024-2026.
With this agreement, corresponding authors with Işık University addresses will have the right to publish their articles open access and their fees will be covered by TÜBİTAK.
Applications from January 1, 2024 are accepted. Authors whose articles are accepted to the journal will be evaluated according to the order of publication within the framework of their application through the journal system. Articles that meet TÜBİTAK's criteria will be published open access after approval.
Publishing articles as open access positively affects reading and citation performance. This situation will also positively affects the academic performance of our institution.
What Authors Need to Know:
- The researcher must be the corresponding author of the article.
- Article types covered by the agreement: Original Paper, Review Paper, Continuing Education.
- After the article is accepted for publication, researchers are required to introduce themselves to the system during the author identification process. In this process, the researcher must be primarily affiliated with the selected institution.
