The celebration program for the Republic Day on October 29th took place in the Şile Campus Auditorium. The program was attended by the University's academic, administrative staff, and students, as well as the Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Volkan Günay.

In addition, Necdet Şenkal, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şinasi Onur, and Prof. Dr. Melda Cinman, who are members of the Board of Trustees, also attended the program. The celebration program began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by opening speeches by the President of the Ataturkism Club, Doruk Kaygusuz, Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül.

During the celebration program, the speaker, Prof. Dr. Nuran Zeren Gülersoy, who is the head of the Architecture Department in the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, delivered a speech entitled "View of Urban Cultural Heritage in the Republican Era".
