Işık University's Disabled Student Unit participated in various activities on the occation of 3rd December International Day of Persons with Disabilities to indicate that they are always in support of disabled students. They visited the Şile Disabled Camp, which offers free holiday opportunities to disabled people and their families throughout the year to enable them to participate in social development, integrate with society, and provide social rehabilitation. The representatives of the Disabled Student Unit were accompanied by the camp director Yunus Kazmaz, and they were informed about the activities and works carried out in the camp.

They also visited the Şile Halk Eğitim Merkezi Engelsiz Yaşam Merkezi, which was renewed and opened with an official ceremony by the Şile Municipality. The representatives of the Disabled Student Unit of our university also participated in the opening ceremony and visited the Center.

Additionally, the Accessibility Fair, held at the Istanbul Fair Center between December 1-4, was also visited by the representatives of the Disabled Student Unit.
