The 10th of November Atatürk Memorial Program was held at the Şile Campus Auditorium. The program was attended by the Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, Board of Trustees Chairman Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, Board of Trustees Vice Chairman Necdet Şenkal, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Volkan Günay, as well as the academic, administrative staff and students of our University.

The celebration program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish National Anthem, followed by opening speeches by Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman and Board of Trustees Chairman Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül.

The guest speaker at the memorial program, Boğaziçi University Atatürk Institute faculty member Prof. Dr. Asım Karaömerlioğlu, delivered a speech titled "Atatürk and Science in the Establishment of the Republic of Turkey."
