Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman met with Prof. Dr. Selçuk Şirin from the Department of Applied Psychology, Faculty of Culture and Human Development, New York University (NYU) to exchange ideas on subjects such as university education, education policies, literature, and art in Turkey. 

Prof. Dr. Selçuk Şirin gave information about the problems faced by the education system and universities in Turkey and shared his suggestions for solutions based on his observations.

Prof. Dr. Selçuk Şirin presented his last book, "Either Justice or Misery, 7 Issues 7 Recipes for a More Livable Turkey", which is the product of 2 years of work, in which he discussed the 7 main issues of Turkey that need to be solved urgently, with data and real human stories, as a gift to our Rector.
