Işık Schools Students Become "University Students for A Day"

Işık Üniversitesi has launched a program called "University Student for a Day" to provide high school students in 11th and 12th grades with the opportunity to experience university life on campus. The first program was specifically organized for students from the Ayazağa, Erenköy, Ispartakule, and Nişantaşı Işık High Schools, and 170 students participated in the event held at the Şile campus.

The program began with an opening speech by the Rector of Işık University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, and the students received information about Işık University and its new educational model. They also listened to a presentation about the program by Prof. Dr. Serhat Koloğlugil, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, and the coordinator of the program.

The students attended the classes taught by the university's faculty members and took a tour of the campus. They also joined in social activities organized by Işık University student clubs and got the chance to meet the members of these clubs.
