Işık University has added two new professors to its academic staff with the completion of their academic processes. The "Academic Promotion and Appointment Ceremony" was held for Visual Communication Design Department Faculty Member Prof. Banu İnanç Uyan Dur from the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture and Computer Engineering Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Mustafa Taner Eskil from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The ceremony was held at the Şile Campus of the university.

After speeches by the Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, the Rector presented the professors their relevant academic regalia. The ceremony was concluded after the Chairman of the Board of Trustees presented commemorative plaques to the newly appointed professors, and the professors gave their first speeches with their new title.
