Our Graphic Design Students Win First Prize in an International Typography Competition

Students from our Vocational School Graphic Design Program carried the vision they demonstrated in their “Typography” and “Experimental Typography” courses beyond borders. We achieved international success at the PANGRAM International Font and Calligraphy Competition held in Ukraine, where 371 students from 19 countries participated with 577 designs.
Our student Azranur Akçakaya made us all proud by winning first place worldwide in the “Art Alphabet” category. The success did not end there; in the competition, where 42 of our designs advanced to the final stage, Azranur Akçakaya, Eylül Gülbahar Baştürk, Güzide Sima Karakaya, Neslişah Köse, and Selin Erborazan were also awarded Diplomas in the same category.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our Graphic Design Program Lecturer Selçuk Öziş, who contributed to every detail of these remarkable designs, along with all of our program instructors and our students who continue to shine through their achievements.
