IŞIK Alumni Gather at the Şile Campus

The second Alumni Picnic, organized by the Işık University Alumni Association (İŞÜMED) and the Career and Alumni Office, took place on Sunday, 22 June, at the Şile campus. 

IŞIK alumni returned to campus after a long break to relive old memories and savor the joy of reuniting with their friends. Dean of Students Prof. Dr. Adnan Uzun and Career and Alumni Office Manager Merve Özyurt also attended the picnic and accompanied the alumni.

The Şile campus, with its natural beauty, provided a nostalgic and delightful day for the alumni and fostered a warm and genuine atmosphere, bringing together different generations. The alumni attended the picnic with their families, and the "Logo Workshop" designed for the children was a particularly vibrant and creative highlight of the day.

The warm exchanges and heartfelt conversations throughout the day once again highlighted the strong sense of belonging among Işık members.

During the event, which saw participation from our student clubs, students showcased their projects to the alumni, fostering a meaningful environment between the generations. 

As part of the event, detailed information about association membership was provided to the alumni at the information desk set up by İŞÜMED. Alumni interested in joining İŞÜMED can submit their applications through www.isumed.org.tr.  

Organized for the second time this year, the Alumni Picnic was an important step towards establishing a lasting tradition among IŞIK alumni. İŞÜMED Management aims to hold these meetings annually to strengthen the bond between the alumni each year.

Işık University will continue to strengthen its ties with its alumni and keep the ‘IŞIKLI” spirit alive.
