EKUAL (National Academic License for Electronic Resources)

Dear Academicians & Researchers,

As part of the EKUAL (National Academic License for Electronic Resources) project conducted by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, the third phase of the “Read & Publish” agreement covering Springer, Nature, and Palgrave journals has been activated.

Our university is a participant in the Read & Publish agreement. Under the criteria set by this agreement, our researchers will be able to publish open-access articles in Q1 and Q2 hybrid journals of Springer, Nature, and Palgrave listed in the attached document during the 2026-2027 period.

With this agreement, corresponding authors affiliated with Işık University will have the right to publish their articles as open access, and the open access publishing fees will be covered by TÜBİTAK.

Articles accepted for publication will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis through the journal's submission system. Articles that meet TÜBİTAK's criteria will be published as open access after approval.

Publishing articles as open access positively impacts their readership and citation performance, benefiting both our authors and our institution's academic performance.

Key Information for Authors:

• The researcher must be the corresponding author of the article.
• Article types covered by the agreement: Original Paper, Review Paper, Continuing Education.
• After the article is accepted for publication, researchers must identify themselves in the system during the author identification process. At this stage, the researcher must be primarily affiliated with the selected institution.
