Preparatory School English Exams – 8–11 September

 

Placement Exam:

7 September 2026 – English Placement Exam (Face-to-face)

  • Location: Şile Campus SFL Building (Classroom/Student lists will be present at the building entrance.)

  • Time: 10:00–12:00

The English Placement Exam will be held face-to-face at the Şile Campus SFL building. Attendance is mandatory for newly enrolled English department students and students who wish to study in the Preparatory Program voluntarily. Students who receive a passing grade in this exam will be eligible to take the two-day Proficiency Exam. Proficiency Exam details are announced below.

Proficiency Exam:

8 September 2026 – English Proficiency Written Exam / Part 1 (Face-to-face)

  • Location: Şile Campus SFL Building (Classroom/Student lists will be posted at the building entrance.)

  • Time: 09:30–15:00

10 September 2026 – English Proficiency Oral Exam / Part 2 (via MS Teams)

  • Location: Online

  • Time: The exam time and MS Teams link will be shared through your Işık student e-mail account. You can access your Işık e-mail at https://www.isikun.edu.tr/webmail. If you do not receive this information in your Işık e-mail, please contact sflinfo@isikun.edu.tr for assistance.

 

All previously registered Preparatory School students (those who were unsuccessful in previous exams) will only take the Proficiency Exam on 8–10 September.

08 September 2026 Tuesday:
DEPARTURE:08:00 Işık University Maslak Campus-4th Levent-Kavacık-Metrogarden-Şile Campus / RETURN: 15:30 (Return to Maslak via the same route)

DEPARTURE: 08:00 Kadıköy Pier Deniz Hotel Front-Kozyatağı Starbucks Front-Metrogarden-Şile Campus / RETURN: 15:30 (Return to Kadıköy via the same route)
