The aim of the course; to give information about the systems and common diseases and to teach the basic principles of patient care for these diseases

Anesthesia preparation, safety controls, patient follow-up, anesthesia process, wake-up, postoperative processes, complications and interventions, specific anesthesia approaches and applications to different surgical branches are included in this course.

Patient follow-up in intensive care, procedures to be followed, follow-up of different physiological systems after surgery and anesthesia, control and interventions, drugs and preparation methods used in intensive care and ward, use and safety of equipment used in intensive care and ward, non-operating anesthesia applications in this course is located.

General approach to infectious diseases, prevention methods of infectious diseases. Prevention of nosocomial infections, principles of use of antimicrobial drugs, correct and proper use rules, evaluation of basic laboratory tests and effective use of laboratory in the presence of infections.

The scope of this course is to recognize the equipments used in the operating room, intensive care and clinic, to learn the working principle of anesthesia device, to be able to control and use it, to learn to use reanimation equipment. The course will be carried out in the hospital for one semester and in the laboratory in the other semester.

The scientific and technical features and principles of the care that should be provided to the patient according to the location and type of the operation performed during the postoperative care and rehabilitation period, and the scientific principles and principles necessary for assisting and supporting the anesthesia application outside the operating room environment, and the standard equipment required for these, monitoring The principles of anesthesia and the properties of pharmacological drugs used are the scope of this course.
