OPEN ACADEMIC POSITIONS!

Işık University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, aims to comprehensively expand its academic staff in line with its goals of excellence in education and leadership in research. For this purpose, it is planned to hire faculty members in various fields and at different levels with the potential in teaching and researching at international level, over the next few years.

In this context, priority will be given to qualified candidates who specialize or wish to specialize in areas related to Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, particularly in the areas of System Control and/or Robotic Systems. Prospective candidates must hold a PhD degree in related fields to the position to which they are applying, and demonstrate a solid track record, in terms of international publications in technical journals in their fields; as well as experience or potential of leading national and international funded research projects. Successful candidates are also expected to contribute to graduate and undergraduate programs conducted in Mechanical Engineering Department, through innovative teaching methods. The candidates must be eligible to teach in English language and International academic experience will be preferred.
