Educational Objectives and Program Outcomes

The educational objectives of Mechatronics Engineering Undergraduate Program at Işık University is to train mechatronics engineers who: 

 

  • Respond to the needs of society by working in engineering, industrial automation, production, research/development, and administrative positions within academic and/or industrial organizations operating in the field of Mechatronics Engineering Science and its application areas,
  • Continuously develop themselves with the awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning and successfully maintain their professional careers and
  • Embrace the necessity and importance of servicing to society, respect ethical values, and fulfill their responsibilities by making positive contributions to the social, business, and technical fields in their positions by providing leadership when necessary.

Objectives of the Mechatronics Engineering Bachelor's Program

  • Işık University aims to educate mechatronics engineers who can work in academic and/or industrial organizations engaged in industrial automation, engineering, production, R&D, and administrative positions in the field of mechatronics engineering science and application areas, responding to the needs of society,
  • Individuals who continue their professional lives successfully, continuously improving themselves with the awareness of lifelong learning,
  • Individuals who embrace the necessity and importance of serving society, respect ethical values, contribute positively to the social, business, and technical fields in the positions they work in, and fulfill their duties with responsibility, including leadership when necessary.
