IŞIK UNIVERSITY Academician Training Support (Open to all Universities)

(Department of Industrial Engineering)

At the beginning of each semester, the quotas regarding scholarships and discounts to be applied to students admitted to graduate programs are submitted for the approval of the UYK and the Board of Trustees with the recommendation of the Department Heads and the decision of the Graduate School Executive Board. Student admissions within the quotas released according to the scholarship and discount status within the scope of the Academician Training Support are applied with the recommendation of the Department Heads and the decision of the Graduate School Executive Board.

The Academic Training Support includes full exemption from tuition fees, a monthly net payment in an amount to be determined by the Board of Trustees, accommodation in dormitories or use of staff shuttle services, one meal a day and inpatient private health insurance.

• (a) Only students enrolled in thesis programs can benefit from the Academic Training Support.
• (b) Academic Training Support is determined at the beginning of each semester upon the proposal of the Department Heads, the decision of the Institute 

Administrative Board, and the approval of the University Administrative Board and the Board of Trustees. According to the scholarship and discount status within the scope of the Academic Training Support, student admissions within the announced quotas are applied with the recommendation of the Department Heads and the decision of the Institute Administrative Board.
