 30 Ağustos Zafer Bayramı

We proudly celebrated the 104th anniversary of August 30 Victory Day, the symbol of our nation's struggle for independence and freedom.

31 August 2026

The ceremony began with the laying of wreaths at the Atatürk bust by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Koloğlugil, followed by Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül. During the speeches on the meaning and significance of the day, it was emphasized that the strongest way to preserve and carry forward the spirit of independence and sovereignty represented by the August 30 Victory is to advance our Republic through reason, science, contemporary education, and a free-thinking young generation.
We commemorate the founder of our Republic, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his heroic comrades-in-arms with respect, gratitude, and appreciation.
Happy August 30 Victory Day!
