Işık University has taken another significant step toward its sustainability goals by expanding its environmentally friendly practices. Electric vehicle charging stations have now been put into service at both the Şile and Maslak campuses.
Guided by its vision of a sustainable campus, our University continues to advance efforts to enhance energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint. In this regard, a total of 21 electric vehicle charging stations (2 DC Fast Charge and 19 AC Charge) have been installed at six different locations across the Şile Campus. Additionally, four AC charging stations have been made available in the indoor parking area of the Maslak Campus.
With these new stations, students, staff, and visitors will be able to more conveniently use environmentally friendly transportation options on campus.
Looking ahead, the University aims to further expand its projects that encourage the use of renewable energy sources for a sustainable future.
