A seminar titled “Between Love, Work, and Family: Mentalization and Support Systems in Romantic Relationships,” presenting the findings of an Işık University BAP project, was successfully conducted.
Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berna Akçınar and Dr. Buket Ünver from the Department of Psychology, the session featured presentations by Clinical Psychology Ph.D. students Beyza Önürme and Şule Ünlü, who examined the ecological systems shaping individual behavior from a multidimensional perspective.
The seminar included in-depth discussions on topics such as professional life, parenting roles, family dynamics, and relationship harmony. It also addressed how behavioral patterns formed in childhood are reflected in adult work environments and romantic relationships.
We extend our sincere thanks to all faculty members and students who contributed to the event.
