Seher Şeylan, PhD, a faculty member in the Department of Cinema and Television, served as a Main Jury Member for the Documentary Film Competition at the 25th International Frankfurt Turkish Film Festival

The 25th International Frankfurt Turkish Film Festival, which promotes Turkish cinema on a global stage and brings together artists and audiences from diverse geographies, contributed to cultural diversity through panels, talks, and competitions. This year’s competitions included categories for feature films, documentaries, and short films.

Seher Şeylan, PhD, who served as a jury member for the Documentary Film Competition, continues her academic work around the themes of documentary, film criticism, memory, and identity, and acts as a consultant on various documentary projects.
