The paper titled “An Integrated Terrain-Relative Navigation and Hazard Detection Framework for Precision Lunar Landing” by Çağrı Çıbuk, our student in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, has been accepted for presentation at the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), the world’s largest space congress.
Organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) in partnership with SAHA Istanbul, IAC 2026 aims to strengthen Türkiye’s role in the global space ecosystem. At a time when space technologies play a critical role in communication, security, and sustainability, the congress will serve as an important meeting point for countries and industries from around the world.
We sincerely congratulate our student and wish him continued success.
