Işık University Receives Zero Waste Award

At the event organized by Şile Municipality as part of World Environment Day on June 5 and Istanbul Zero Waste Week, Işık University achieved a significant success with its environmentally friendly initiatives.

Işık University was recognized as the institution that delivered the highest amount of waste to the 1st Class Waste Collection Center and was awarded a plaque in recognition of its exemplary practices in sustainability and environmental awareness. The plaque was presented to Emre Kaya, Head of Işık University’s Construction, Support and Services Department, by Şile Municipality Deputy Mayor Sacit Terzi. This meaningful award presented by Şile Municipality highlighted Işık University’s commitment to zero waste goals and its environmentally responsible approach.
