A Gender Equality-Themed Awareness Course Was Held

An open lecture on gender equality was organized in cooperation with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and the Gender Equality Commission as part of the November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

In her presentation on the concept of gender, Dr. Müzeyyen Pandır examined how the differentiated roles and expectations assigned to women and men in all areas of daily life shape individuals’ experiences, everyday practices, and access to opportunities. During the course, which addressed how social inequalities are produced, our students actively participated and asked questions, allowing them to reflect on and challenge patterns often regarded as “natural.”
