From Dreams to the Future: Career Counseling in Schools

In the seminar, Asst. Prof. Dr. Levent İncedere from the Vocational School's Medical Imaging Techniques Program gave a presentation titled "Studying at University." He highlighted the academic and professional gains that university education provides to individuals, the department selection processes, and the key points to consider in career planning.

Clinical Psychologist Gözde Ceylan from the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center delivered a presentation titled "Psychological Processes from High School to University." She addressed the psychological changes students may encounter when transitioning from high school to university life, the adaptation processes, and the emotional fluctuations that can be experienced during this period. Furthermore, she shared insights on how teachers can provide more effective support to their students throughout this transition.

The seminar fostered a productive environment for knowledge sharing, focusing on the importance of career planning within the education system, the proper guidance of students' interests and talents, and enabling them to take more conscious steps toward their future.
