The 102nd Anniversary of the Republic Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Our University

We celebrated the 102nd anniversary of our Republic with enthusiasm and pride at our Şile Campus.

The program began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk bust by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mehmet Serdar Sarıgül, and the Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman. Following the opening speeches, a panel titled "Art, Politics, and Economy in the Light of the Republic" was held.

During the panel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda Görkey, Head of the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences; Prof. Dr. Seda Demiralp, Head of the Department of International Relations; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seher Şeylan from the Department of Cinema and Television at the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, offered a multifaceted evaluation of the Republic’s impact on the fields of art, politics, and economy.

Participants shared their thoughts on the reflections of the Republic's founding ideals in contemporary Turkey.
