Işık Proficiency Exam for 2013-2014 Academic Year Erasmus Applications

Işık Proficiency Exam for 2013-2014 Academic Year Erasmus Applications

If you are planning to be an Erasmus student in the 2013-2014 academic year, there are 3 basic criteria you need to meet: a GPA of 2.20 and above for undergraduate students and 2.50 and above for graduate students; you should take a language exam and you should have completed freshman year. You can take either the Işık Exit exam or the TOEFL exam. TOEFL results are valid for two years, and the Işık Exit result is valid for one year.

TOEFL results come 3 weeks after you take the exam.

The Işık Proficiency exam will be given on Thursday, January 22 in the EFL Building. The students should be at the classrooms at 10:00AM or 1:00PM at the latest. Class lists will be hung on clipboards in EFL building. If you plan to take the exam on January 22, please e-mail nilufer.sen@isikun.edu.tr at the Erasmus Office by 5:00PM on January 2 at the latest with your first and last name, student number, and your time preference. There won't be another exam for fall term students. There will be another exam for spring term students in June 2013.

It is mandatory to follow the enclosed Işık Proficiency exam rules. Students who don't follow the rules won't be able to find out their exam results and won't be able to take this exam again. Students who send their names to the office and then do not take the exam won't allowed to take a later exam.

We strongly recommend following the rules as Işık Proficiency is an exam that is carefully planned and executed.
