Visa Procedures

International students who are applying to Işık University or who have already registered at Işık University may need a valid visa to enter Türkiye for their education and residence permit processes. For some countries where there are visa exemptions, students can directly enter Türkiye without a visa and then apply for a student residence permit through our office after classes begin.
It is highly recommended that international students check their country's visa regime to Türkiye and complete their travel arrangements in a timely manner.  You may visit this website for more information.
 
Applying students may use their official acceptance letter when applying to a Turkish Embassy/Consulate/Visa Center near to their residence.
Students who are already registered may use their Turkish Öğrenci Belgesi (Student Letter) which they can request on e-campus' document request page when applying for a visa.

If you would like us to prepare a Visa Support Letter for you, please share with us the following information:
  1. Your acceptance letter/Öğrenci Belgesi from e-campus.
  2. Your passport copy.
  3. The name of the consulate/embassy you are applying through, for example, TURKISH EMBASSY IN BEIRUT.
  4. The email address of the visa agency if you are applying through one.

Please note that the International Office will be able to prepare your visa support letter only if you send us all of the required information listed above.
Students hold the full responsibility of obtaining the visa and collecting the necessary documents.
