Işık University Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Sıddık YARMAN, along with Board member Cem Yurtbay ran the 9th International Runtalya Marathon.

The 9th running of the International Runtalya Marathon had 4,985 participants from 36 countries. 

The race started at the Antalya Cultural Center, with runners heading down Ataturk Boulevard, Işıklar, Fener, Old Lara Road, following the Lara Beach Coastal Road, out to Kunda, and returning to the Antalya Cultural Center for the finish. Athletes in four categories ran in the disabled runners marathon, the mens and womens 21 kilometer half-marathon, the mens and womens 42 kilometer full marathon, and the 10 kilometer race. 

Işık University Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Sıddık YARMAN completed the 10 kilometer run in 1.24.14, while Board member Cem Yurtbay completed the 21 kilometer half-marathon in 1.57.40.
