Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Bülent Kahraman, will feature as a guest lecturer at the "Politics, Contemporary Art, and Curatorship" seminar to be held at Akbank Sanat on February 1, Wednesday. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Kahraman, will share his views on political art, a significant phenomenon that plays a significant role in the establishment of modernity, and its use for spreading ideology and indoctrination of the masses, as well as the possibility of adding a political dimension to produced art, from the perspective of the curator. The seminar will be held online on February 1 at 18:00, and all members of the IŞIK community are invited to attend.
