Student Council

Işık University, which considers student participation a vital part of its culture, ensures the representation of students on the boards of departments, faculty, and the university. This method ensures that students not only acquire the opportunity to influence the setting where they spend their daily lives, but also gain experience in administrative topics they will encounter in business life in the future.

The Student Council helps students' demands and views to be taken into consideration by sharing their opinions and suggestions with the school administration or related administrative branches. Student representatives attend all administrative board and senate meetings and share their opinions and suggestions with the school administration. In addition, students attend the relevant committees (scholarship committee, library committee, dormitory board of directors, etc.) and share their views and opinions with these committees.
