Learning outcomes for the Computer Engineering Program

  • Basic Sciences: as related to computer science and engineering
  • Hardware: knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering and components of computer hardware
  • Programming: ability to implement theoretical solutions in a modern programming language
  • Software: ability to propose, design and implement software solutions to real problems
  • Tools: be aware of popular tools and ability to use a subset
  • Project: ability to work in any of the analysis, design, development, test and maintenance stages of computer engineering projects
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in heteregenous teams
  • Self-learning: Ability to determine the necessary skill for the solution of a computer engineering problem and the skill to acquire them
  • Communication: ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Ethics: aware of the social and ethical implications of the profession
  • Social: have a taste and interest in areas outside the immediate requirements of the profession
