Program Objectives
1. Teach
students how to use critical and analytical thinking to address complex local
and global human issues.

Develop students' multidisciplinary knowledge of history, society, science,
technology, politics, art and culture.

Support students' efforts to recognize their broad intellectual interests, and
develop their ethical and social responsibilities. Expand their appreciation
and respect for environmental, social and cultural diversity.

Develop students' oral and written communication skills; encourage their
openness to teamwork; develop their skills in discipline-relevant research; and
nurture their motivation for lifelong learning.
